The complex will comprises of approx. 26,200 sq m of leasable area and will be built in two phases. The first building consists of 6,600 square meters of modern office space, while the second phase will provide offices on 19,600 square meters. Tenants will be able to use a three-level underground car park with 404 parking spaces, as well as bicycle racks with showers and changing rooms, fitted for cyclists’ convenience. The 8-storey building will be equipped with modern sustainable solutions providing optimal indoor environment quality combined with high cost-efficiency.
The project has already been LEED pre-certified with Gold rating thanks to its innovative solutions minimizing the building’s impact on the natural environment.
These include solar collectors for domestic hot water production as well as efficient water usage by rain and soil water utilized for flushing and eliminiating potable water use for irrigation. During the designing process, the developer have kept in mind green and sustainable solutions guide for tenants such as office green design and priority parking for electric cars.
Also, Skanska have focused on the preferred usage of local and recycled materials, as well as on creating vegetated roofs with terraces to provide more pleasant milieu for our prospective tenants. Such solutions not only minimise the building’s impact on the environment, but at the same time reduce operating costs, which translates into lower bills for water and electricity.
Skanska has also thought about the working comfort of future building’s users – Nordic Light has been designed in a way that all the space for office work would have access to daylight and outside views, what has a huge meaning for employees’ effectiveness.
